Catherine Nichols is the author of more than 60 books for readers of all ages. She has written on a wide variety of topics, including a series about great artists for young readers. She lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband and their pampered pug. David A. Bowell is currently the principal of PS 34747 The American Sign Language and English Lower School in New York City. He is a Board member of New York Deaf Theatre, Ltd. and also consults ASL interpreters for Broadway productions through the Theatre Development Fund. Daves passions include the promoting the positive benefits of learning American Sign Language, raising standards for the education of young deaf children, traveling, and theater. His new favorite thing is sampling artisan cheeses.He lives in Harlem with his husband, Jasper, and four cats.
