This first book is a celebration of Constitution Day -- which is very different from Independence Day.

About the Author Attorney by day and author by night, Samantha Stevins lives in her hometown of Naples, Florida. An avid reader herself, she created these characters to help children understand how the laws impact them on a personal level, in large ways and small. And yes . . . Gavel is a real dog who goes to work with Ms. Stevins almost every day!!!
