As someone who has been involved in sports all my life, I found Rules of the Game to be a fascinating overview of the many areas that law and sports intersect. Whether it is discussing amateurism in college sports, Title IX in high schools, or the intricacies of the legal issues around testing and penalizing for performance-enhancing drugs, Michael Jones explains each topic with clarity while including relevant anecdotes of historical cases, as well as others that are so current they are still in the headlines. It is a very interesting read for athletes, sports fans, and aspiring lawyers alike. -- Karen Smyers, World Champion Triathlete
