Description

This text is designed to complement the author's "A New Land Law", integrating with that work in its simplified terminology, its emphasis on the registrability of titles to land, and its differentiation of leasehold ownership rights and short tenancies. The book considers the impact of the Human Rights Act 1998 and incorporates the changes to repossession procedures implemented by the Woolf Reforms. Law Commission proposals considered include the paper on Termination of Tenancies (1999). In addition, the book examines the large amount of reported landlord and tenant cases.
