Jo Samanta is Professor of Medical Law at Leicester De Montfort Law School where she researches in medical law and ethics and teaches the subject at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has formerly held a range of senior nursing and midwifery positions and is a qualified doctor. Ash Samanta is a Consultant Rheumatologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and a part-time Lecturer at Leicester De Montfort Law School, where he teaches in medical law and ethics.
