Paul Atterbury trained as an art historian and has spent the last twenty years writing a number of books on many aspects of art and antiques, and about travel, with particular emphasis on canals and railways. Co-author of the original Nicholson Guides to Waterways and Canals of Britain, when he visited every corner of the canal network, his other books include See Britain By Train, South-East England by Train, and The North of France. He is a regular member of the BBCs Antiques Roadshow team of experts. Paul Atterbury trained as an art historian and has spent the last twenty years writing a number of books on many aspects of art and antiques, and about travel, with particular emphasis on canals and railways.
