Published to celebrate the centenary of its foundation, this book introduces and samples the Hocken's principal collections. Stuart Strachan is the Hocken Librarian, University of Otago. Linda Tyler was until recently the Curator of the Pictorial Collections, Hocken Library, and is now Director, Centre for New Zealand Art Research and Discovery, University of Auckland.
