Many of the recipes, some dating back over 100 years, shared in this book have been passed from one generation of our family to the next. Many of them are not by themselves unique to our family although the memories they invoke are. This collection of recipes is a testament to my amazing mother who, along with my father, raised four boys and always made time to make family meals in a busy household.
Erik Tungate was born in Kalamazoo, MI in 1975. He graduated from Western Michigan University (BA) in 1999 and Wayne State University (MBA) in 2001. He resides in Detroit.
