Marco Bianchi earned his degree in biochemistry research from the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research and has worked at the FIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology (IFOM) in Milan. Since 2008, he has worked as a scientific researcher at the Umberto Veronesi Foundation. He has published fourteen books including Il talismano del mangiar sano (The Talisman of Healthy Eating), A tavola con Marco Bianchi (At the Table with Marco Bianchi), La mia cucina italiana (My Italian Cuisine), and I magnifici 20 e le ricette (The Magnificent 20 and the Recipes). On television, he has appeared on Food Network, Geo & Geo, Detto Fatto, and La Prova del Cuoco. He has also hosted three documentary-style reality series on helping overweight adults and children eat well on Fox Life. Marco spends his time travelling all over Italy to implement his projects and spread the word about healthy eating. He currently lives in Milan with his wife and daughter.
