"Pasta Veloce is one of those rare cookbooks that can make cooking at home not only a treat but a breeze. Go through this book and you will find so many delicious--and fast--recipes that the most difficult thing you'll have to do is pick which one!"--James Beard Outstanding Chef, owner of Osteria Mozza, and author of The Mozza Cookbook "Nancy Silverton"
"Frances Mayes takes us through the Italian kitchen with the same comfort and style with which she takes us through the cities and countryside of Italy. Susan Wyler adds her own fabulous veloce recipes that propel us toward the stove. The Ten-Minute Tomato Sauce has become my go-to for a quick dinner from the pantry, and the Sicilian Citrus Pesto is great not only on pasta but on anything from sliced tomatoes to grilled fish."--former chef for Martha Stewart, founder of Foster's Markets, and published cookbook author "Sara Foster"
"What a brilliant concept--I picked up many tips to enhance flavors while cutting time spent at the stove.
