From the foreword: Vegan food is an adventure, inspiring us to investigate the recipes of other cultures where veggies are at the center of the plate. Jane Velez-Mitchell
Whatever age you are, once you open The 40-Year-Old Vegan your health can transform in ways you may not have previously imagined. Author Sandra Sellani writes with a blend of passion and compassion as she shares her culinary vision leading to better health, a better world, and a better life for the animals we share our planet with. I not only enjoyed Sandras personal insights but also felt a bit like Pavlovs dog upon seeing the Sellani sisters mouth-watering recipes. I look forward to recommending this book to my patients whether they are forty, fifty, or eighty. Carlyn Montes De Oca, L.A.c, M.T.O.M., author, speaker, plant-based nutritional consultant
The 40-Year Old Vegan is the culmination of Sandra and Susans lifetime of comfort-food cooking with a vegan twist. Sandra introduced the first Meatless Monday event in the city of Long Beach, California at my restaurant and proved how delicious and accessible vegan food can be. Michael Neufeld, restaurant wwner, GASLAMP Music.Bar.Kitchen, Long Beach, CA
The message of The 40-Year-Old Vegan is close to my heart. I recognize that all animals feel. I love them and defend them. I know that the meat industry is destroying the world and I know that is not healthy to eat animal products. That's why I am vegan, because it is the least I can do. Ricardo Pimentel Cordero, founder, Tierra de Animales, Cancun, Mexico
