Jenn Danella has been hunting since she was in high school-and cooking what she brought home just as long! In the Weeknight Wild Game Cookbook, she showcases her experience with delicious recipes that make venison, wild hog, and game birds approachable, demonstrating dozens of ways to incorporate wild game into daily meals. As it explores methods and basic butchery tips, this book encourages hunters and cooks to be less intimidated by using field-to-table ingredients. Start the day with country-style biscuits and venison gravy, impress a crowd with pheasant fritters and aioli, or warm up on a cool winter night with creamy wild turkey and mushroom soup ora venison lasagna. From breakfast dishes and tailgate foods to dishes perfect for summer grilling, readers will learn how to bring their own freshly prepared meat to the table in ways that will have everyone asking for seconds.
