Author Bio

Tim Lopez has been a chef for over 25 years. He has worked at various restaurants, country clubs, and also in corporate dining for an NFL football team. While working this job, he developed a love of food culture, discovering how what people eat helps define where they come from and who they are. Chef Tim cooked in the NFL for 15 years with the same team and was invested in the food culture of players, coaches, and fans throughout the NFL. He has a passion for regional cuisine and exploring all the foods our country has to offer. He is currently a culinary arts teacher in Philadelphia. He lives in South Jersey with his wife, Melissa, who is a literacy teacher, his son Parker, and their two dogs.
