Helen Graves is a cook, food writer and editor. She specialises in barbecue, and is the author of the barbecue bible Live Fire, which was shortlisted for a Guild of Food Writers Award 2023. She is also editor of Pit, an independent food magazine. She won Editor of the Year: Food and Drink at the British Society of Magazine Editor's Awards 2020, and the Food Magazine Award at the Guild of Food Writers Awards 2023. Helen lives in South London with five barbecues and two cats.
