This is a tailgating cookbook. The idea was to take regional specialties and adapt them so people can cook them in tailgating parking lots or outside in general without breaking the bank on sophisticated equipment. The book provides details so that people can understand the cultural connection, history, and flavors from a recipe to a particular region in the United States. The author is not a chef and is self-trained, but is passionate about food, sports, being outside and sharing all of them with family and friends.
Mark Hoversen is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois. He has a Masters Degree in Accountancy from Marquette University and specializes in Governmental Accounting, more specifically Educational Finance and has a Chief School Business Official Certification.
