Celebrating 100 years of Australias oldestfamily-owned distillery
The St Agnes Distillery in Renmark, South Australia, has remained proudly independent for five generations. In 2025, the Angove family commemorates 100 years since the distillery was founded and the first distillation of the iconic St Agnes Brandy. This book delves into the fascinating history of the distillery, as author Luke McCarthy reveals new stories about the remarkable people who, despite fires, floods, wars and droughts, crafted Australias most-awarded aged spirit. Featuring images from the family archive and tasting notes of the revered St Agnes XO range, discover how the Angoves pioneered wine and spirit making in the Riverland and created one of the worlds finest brandies.
