Ian Thorpe has long been known for his incredible swimming achievements. And once his career in the pool ended he developed a healthy eating plan that would sustain him, keeping him trim and in excellent health.

A lifetime love of cooking, teamed with a refusal to give up the flavours of his favourite meals, led Ian to develop a plan that allowed him to eat the delicious foods he loves, which included a lot of meat and to maintain a healthy, lean, strong body. Rich in flavour, balanced and achievable, Ian's diet and healthy eating plan includes all the things he loves but also helps to keep him looking good and feeling great.

In Eat Well Now Ian shares his philosophy on diet gathered from experts on nutrition and diet over all of his years of elite sporting success. Bringing together the best advice from some of Australia's most well regarded nutrition experts, as well as his experience as a champion at the highest level of elite sport, East Well Now is an honest, easy to achieve and delicous way for everybody to enjoy good food and good health.

"This is one of those cookery books that will live on benchtops, open and consulted. It is, like Ian Thorpe in the pool, a winner." Weekly Times

"You can count on most athletes to get healthy food right, and in the case of Ian Thorpe theres an equally healthy respect for flavour, not just fuel, in his cooking." Sunday Territorian
