Offers recipes for both old-fashioned and new Southern cuisine, including oven-fried chicken breasts with pecan crust, cheese grits soufflae, and Nana's banana cream pie.
Boasting over 600 recipes, Mastering the Art of Southern Cooking is basically the Southern cooking bible, and if you only buy one cookbook... it'll have you covered and then some. More than just recipes, the book is filled with helpful tricks and techniques - the type of stuff that will help you actually impress your mother-in-law for once if you master.--Amanda Waas "Parade" (4/18/2016 12:00:00 AM)
