Author Bio

Frances Anna Gillette was born and raised in Washington. She is the oldest of seven children and learned to cook at a very young age, when food on the farm was simple and wholesome. Frances and her husband were blessed with eight children, 46 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Fran, a registered nurse, and her daughter own and operate Superior Care for Seniors, Inc., a referral placement service for the elderly. Fran thanks everyone who has bought and used her recipe books. Her goal is to share good recipes, and she feels passionate about keeping good food on the table. Fran Gillette's cookbooks have sold more than 100,000 copies.
