A beautiful French cookbook that combines European and North American sensibilites by the owners of two of Vancouver's most acclaimed French restaurants. In addition to an emphasis on 'new world' French cuisine the recipes also reflect the authors' experiences as the parents of two young sons, and the importance of imparting a love of food and cuisine that should be passed from generation to generation.
