Sarah Wordie was born and brought up in rural Scotland, on a farm where she loved to bake for friends and family. At university, a disastrous incident in the run-up to a Christmas dinner led to the conception ofBetween the Sheets. This started her culinary adventure of layering, leading to her TV debut as a contestant on The Great Cookbook Challenge with Jamie Oliver where she made the final six. Sarah has juggled working as a junior doctor for the NHS in Edinburgh while writing her cookbook.
