She has loved cooking since her teenage years, which she spent working in a family-run, drive-in restaurant. She continued her passion for cooking with a wedding cake business, hosting church dinners, and working in hospitality with her Army husband. She lives in Michigan.
Laura Klynstra is a freelance graphic designer and photographer focusing on book covers and illustrated book interiors. Before running her business, she worked as art director at Hyperion Books and at HarperCollins Publishers. She lives in Michigan with her husband, two boys, and a menagerie of cats, chickens, and ducks.
