Description

A brilliantly drawn graphic cookbook full of affordable, hearty home cooking. Recipes From the Kitchen Drawer- A Graphic Cookbook is a collection of classic recipes in the form of simple, expertly drawn graphic drawings. Each recipe is broken down into easy-to-follow steps, all cleverly displayed on one graphic table top, a bit like a comic strip recipe for grown-ups. This is real comfort food that author and illustrator Helen Ashley grew up with, including wholesome recipes for tomato soup, cauliflower cheese, sausage casserole, scones and flapjacks. It's the perfect cookbook for home cooks on a budget and the ideal gift for students, twentysomethings and cash-strapped mums. Brilliant graphics combined with sensational yet affordable dishes make this the ideal cookery book for recession-hit Britain and a must-have for every kitchen table.
