GREAT AUTHOR: Julien Perry is a wonderful writer, one of the best we've had in our cookbooks, so we are thrilled to have her back on this book after the great job she did with Seattle Cooks. Her knowledge of the region is encyclopedic and she is well regarded by the culinary and wine community.

KYLE MACLACHLAN: This famed, Golden Globe winning, multiple Emmy-nominated Yakima, WA actor (Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Desperate Housewives), will be doing the Foreword. MacLachlan also is a vintner in Washington, owner of the Pursued by Bear winery. ("Exit -- pursued by bear" is one of the few stage directions given by William Shakespeare in a play - from The Winter's Tale.
