I love this book! There is nothing better than making snowflakes for Christmas. However this book takes snowflakes to a whole new level and shows you how they can be used all year round. You get the most amazing array of 40 patterns. Each of the snowflakes looks so different. I love the fact that you get step by step instructions and pictures. The patterns come in written and chart format. This means that any type of crocheter can give the patterns a go. The book start with the core techniques
of crocheting. It goes through all the basic stitches used and how to make them. There are step-by-step instructions and pictures. Then it's straight into the beautiful snowflake patterns. You will be amazed at how something so simple as a snowflake can look so different with each design. At the back of the book there is the most amazing projects for you to make inlcuding Lavender Sachets, Coasters, Child's Dress. I would highly recommend this book. It offers so many beautiful snowflake patterns and beautiful ways to use them all year round.
The snowflake lady is back with another brilliant book including step-by-step instructions to make over 40 crochet snowflakes. You'll see all the completed snowflakes at the beginning of the book, graded from beginner to advanced. The latter are more typical of a lacy snowflake and are my favourites. Stitches and how to crochet are also at the front of the book. Each pattern shows the completed snowflake, a chart and key and clear step-by-step instructions. At the back of the book, you'll find ways to use your snowflakes - attach them tolavender sachets or clothes, make coasters, garlands or hair bands and there is a scarf pattern too. For crochet enthusiasts everywhere.
