Melanie Morita-Hu is the author of Hooked on Amigurumi and the founder of Knot Too Shabby Crochet. She began selling amigurumi plushes from her Etsy shop in 2016 and has also sold her work at a number of events and festivals, including Coachella. She lives in Monterey Park, California.
