Description

A charming collection of knitting truths! Man learned long ago that two sticks, rubbed together, can create a spark. It took a little longer to realise that if you attach a string, you can create a whole lot more. From practical advice to philosophical insights, The Little Book of Knitting Wisdoms is a collection of knitting truisms that will amuse, comfort and inspire - and have you reaching for those needles! A non-knitter is not ignorant. She is simply uneducated as yet ...

Author Bio

Eliza Carpenter is a fictional character who appears in the novels of Rachael Herron. Eliza began self-publishing her innovative knitting patterns in the 1950s, and soon gained a worldwide following for her clever design ideas and her astute tips and tricks. Though Eliza sadly died just before the novels begin, her legacy and her wise words live on. Rachael Herron lives in Oakland, California. She writes the popular knitting website Yarnagogo.com, which gets over 100,000 readers a month. She has been knitting since she was five years old, and is known among her friends as simply 'The Knitter'. Her novels - Eliza's Gift, Lucy's Kiss and Naomi's Wish - are delightful romantic comedies, set in the sleepy town of Cypress Hollow.
