I really do like this book, it has some fabulous ideas in it. The bunting and the hanging plant basket are definitely on my to do list. I think all of us who sew have a tonne of scraps to use and I think this little book of ideas will come in very handy.
-- Sally Joelle * Amazon Customer Review *Fantastic range of ideas for using up all those odd scraps that you never know what to do with. Book is nice size too.
-- Wendy Sawyer * Amazon Customer Review *Includes instructions on how to make several household items just using small pieces of fabric. Nice variety of items and well written instructions, I would probably make all of them in time. Would make a nice gift for a sewer.
-- Lynda Packer * Amazon Customer Review *Stitch 20 stylish items from very small amounts of fabric. Transform tiny scraps into coaster, strips into bunting and offcuts into pincushions. Key techniques and templates are included and projects have step-by-step instructions and stunning photos.
* Machine Knitting Monthly *If you're a scrapaholic like me and always on the lookout for scrappy projects, then you will love this book! There are 20 unique little projects that should cater for just about any taste alongside excellent tips on tools and techniques designed for quick and easy makes. Each project outlines what you need, what to cut, the templates and the how to make it in simple, easy to understand steps. The book also teaches a number of different applications including sewing, patchwork and applique (hand and machine) and includes instructions for a coin purse, earphone pouch, wall banners, bowl covers, plant hangers, place mats, bunting, pot holders, a Folk-Art Rooster and more. The book itself is a nice space-saving size 21.5 cm x 15.5 cm. As a result, bear in mind that some of the templates will have to be photocopied and enlarged. This wasn't a problem for me, especially given the scope of projects included in the book. It is certainly a book I would recommend, not just for yourself but for gifts and quick makes. With a keen price and 20 super little projects, you won't run out of inspiration with this one!
