Probably the greatest test of the modeller is achieving the perfectly posed figure. This title explains how best to set up the figure, and goes on to deal with the niceties of painting, facial expressions, clothing etc. With no detail unexplored, everything is clearly explained with step by step photos.
Jerry Scutts Having worked in the field of aviation publishing from the late 1960s, Jerry Scutts wrote over 40 books covering a broad spectrum of subject matter ranging from US Navy floatplane fighters in World War 2 to the exploits of the USAF's Phantom IIs over Vietnam. Specialising in the Luftwaffe and the US Army Air Forces in World War 2, Jerry originally appeared on the Osprey list in 1977 when he wrote the second volume in the now much sought after Air Cam Air War series many of the jacket illustrations in this series were also painted by him. Jerry was a regular contributor to Osprey's Aircraft of the Aces series since its inception in 1994. He sadly passed away in 2008.
