Some of you will know Wil Anderson as "the bloke who sits in the middle on that ABC-TV show with the weird name" (The Gruen Transfer); or "the one who wasn't Corinne or Hughesy on that show that used to get in trouble all the time" (The Glass House). For five years he also got up at a time most people consider 'last night' to be "the one who knew lots about Buffy but nothing about maths" on the Triple J Breakfast Show with Adam Spencer. Wil also does a bit of writing, and for the last six years has written a regular column, and authored a bestselling book called Survival of the Dumbest. But it is stand-up comedy that is Wil's true passion. He has proudly told "dick jokes for cash" in pretty much every comedy club and festival in Australia, and taken his knob gags international at all the major festivals from Edinburgh to Auckland to Montreal. In 2008, Wil was named GQ's Comedic Talent of the Year, and given an excellent trophy which he immediately misplaced while drunk at the after party.

Comedian, writer and broadcaster, Wil Anderson was the former co-host of Triple J's Breakfast show, one of Australia's few truly national brekkie radio gigs and former host of ABC-TVs cult hit 'The Glass House'. However, he is probably still best known as one of Australia's greatest live stand-up comedians, selling out theatres across the country. His ease on stage is a disarming front for intelligent material that ranges from personal to pop to politics. He has also performed at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Adelaide Fringe Festival, and in 1999 was nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, returning since to much critical acclaim. Wil writes the Sunday Roast column for the Sunday Magazine (Sunday Telegraph). He has also been a columnist for The Australian, Melbourne Extra (1998-99) and The Big Issue (1997), and is one of Australia's most accomplished corporate performers. He currently hosts the successful Wil + Lehmo show on Triple M.
