In association with Getaway Magazine, share in the spirit of the readers of Getaway as they journey through these hilarious, poignant, silly, ridiculous and often bewildering signs. This, the third journey into public oddity, includes some Chinglish (Chinese English) corkers. The first book hit the presses as Funny Signs, although at the time we had no idea it would be so enthusiastically received, going into five reprints. It also produced a flurry of ever more funny signs which, in 2004, led to another book, More Funny Signs. Writing in that edition, then Getaway editor David Bristow called it 'a tribute to the readers of Getaway, who share with us all other readers the spirit of their journeys through these hilarious, poignant, silly, ridiculous and often bewildering signs.' It's amazing how many people go to considerable trouble to tell other people wacky things on boards - and often get the message so delightfully wrong doing it.
