Author Bio

Jeffry Odell Korgen lived in Slidell Louisiana for his teenage years, before moving to Boston and New York City for forty years, where he regaled friends, neighbors, and colleagues in ministry with stories of his hometown--Slidell, Louisiana. These are his greatest hits, in the "I Remember" format pioneered by artist Joe Brainard. He is the author of several books on ministry and currently lives with his wife, sociologist Kathleen Odell Korgen, on Cape Cod.
