Description

A follow-up to the best-selling Centimetre Perfect Some would say, 'That's Ambitious'.

From the great man himself, this is another collection of his own favourites, some having waited for years to bob up like corks in the ocean. There's no question of accuracy here, lots of quick thinking in heavy traffic, and centimetre perfect delivery every time.

Here, Dennis muses about huddle breath, tries out a Billy Connolly accent, reminisces about old Eagles songs, reveals his favourite team jumper and, in his trademark style, impresses with his extensive knowledge of the AFL game, its players and trivia.

This is definitely one for the time capsule.

Author Bio

Dennis Cometti is one of the best known and most respected sportscasters in Australia. He had a promising career as a footballer, playing for West Perth. But his first love was radio, a career that took him to Melbourne in 1970 to work at 3DB and play football for Footscray reserves. Injury forced him to hang up his boots and he returned to Perth where over the years he has worked at 6PR and the ABC, commenting on Test cricket alongside the great Alan McGilvray. He also coached West Perth for several years. In 1986, Dennis joined the Seven Network and called AFL matches around the country as well as covering two Commonwealth Games and the Barcelona and Atlanta Olympics. He was with Channel Nine for 5 years, and has returned to Seven in 2007 where his duties will include calling the swimming at the 2008 Olympics. He has the reputation of being the most distinctive, eloquent and beloved football commentators the game has ever known.
