Elizabeth L. Cline is a journalist, public speaker, and the author of Overdressed. Cline has written for the LA Times, The Atlantic, and The New Yorker, to name a few, and has appeared on TV and radio's Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, Fresh Air With Terry Gross, and NBC Nightly News, among others. She is an expert on fashion industry waste, runs a clothing resale business, and is currently the Director of Research and Reuse at Wearable Collections, NYC's largest for-profit used clothing collector.
