Sarah Williams was born in Portsmouth and brought up in nearby Gosport. She escaped in the early 2000s and headed to Brighton, where she studied for a degree in Visual Culture. Since then she has worked as a writer, researcher and community arts facilitator, not to mention barmaid, waitress, cleaner, gardener and decorator.
