Lauren Watt is an author, traveler, writer, and massive dog lover based in Los Angeles. Her career and passion for travel has taken her to over 30 countries, and her writing has been published in the LA Times, Buzzfeed, Cosmopolitan, AFAR, Matador Network, Yahoo! Travel, and more. She can often be found traveling around the world with her best friend, a rescue basenji mix named Bette.
