Bear knew he wasn't special like the others at the shelter. He was just a black, unmemorable dog. With only one day left to find a forever home, Bear had to put his best paw forward. But luck had never been on his side. Will Bear get adopted in time, or will he end up in the Room of No Return
Alice lives with her dog Bear and her love James in Edmonds, Washington. Alice loves music, food, laughing with friends, taking too many pictures, and giving Bear peanut butter treats. She hopes that this book will inspire at least one person to adopt their next forever best friend.Irene Lee is a Seattle based animator who has been working in the industry since 2015. She graduated from the University of Washington and has worked on a number of animated Netflix series. She loves that book illustration is a creative way for artists to send a message and share stories with the world.
