Julie Van Rosendaal is the author of seven cookbooks, including Spilling the Beans (Whitecap Books) and One Smart Cookie (Whitecap Books). She is the food editor of Parents Canada magazine and a freelance writer who contributes regularly to several international publications. Many know Julie from her popular food blog, DinnerwithJulie.com, which documents real life in her home kitchen in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
