Queen Quet is the Chieftess and Head-of-State for the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com). She has written numerous books on the history of the Gullah/Geechee Nation and has completed two anthologies on the same topic. Her first novella was Tinkin Bout Famlee which she co-wrote with Ronald Kuumba Goodwine. Queen Quet has won numerous awards for her writing, speeches, and dramatic presentations as well as for her work as an environmental champion.
