Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) has written several books on the history of the Gullah/Geechee Nation and has edited two anthologies on the same topic. Queen Quet is a cultural heritage and environmental champion. She has won awards for her writing, speeches, dramatic presentations, and environmental advocacy work. Queen Quet brings together the Gullah/Geechee culture, the environment, and climate change impacts in her premiere novel duet, We Journey and Gwine Home.
