A gorgeously illustrated collection of all sorts of seashells, complete with interesting facts, history, and more.
With a calming, coastal, oceanside aesthetic, this full-colour gift book is a visual ode to that joyful, ecstatic feeling of finding a treasure in the sand. The hand-painted, exquisitely detailed shells are paired with bits of text meant to inform and fascinate the reader. A colourful journey through the world of molluscs, it's the perfect gift for anyone who loves spending time by the ocean.Jessie King Regunberg is an artist and writer in Washington, DC, where she lives with her husband and three children. When Jessie is not schlepping said children to sports games and playdates and trying to satisfy their insatiable appetites, she can be found in her art studio painting with gouache or creating mosaics. Jessie trained as a historian but found her way back to art after the birth of her second child. She writes for adults and children and feels incredibly lucky to be making a career out of the things she loves most.
