Author Bio

Ever since she was a child, Ashley Roberts dreamed of living in another country. Her family of four left Chicago's Southside to move to southern Mexico, living in Oaxaca for three years before settling in Veracruz. One of her favorite parts of living in (and now visiting!) Oaxaca is the natural beauty everywhere, no matter what region, from hiking Oaxaca's mountain forests to splashing on its beaches and exploring its lagoons and rivers.

Follow along as Ashley documents her family's adventures on her blog, That Black Family Abroad.
