Author Bio

John Gibney is a historian with the Royal Irish Academys Documents on Irish Foreign Policy project. Prior to this he finished a PhD at Trinity College Dublin and worked in heritage tourism in Dublin for over fifteen years. His books include Dublin: A New Illustrated History (2017) and A Short History of Ireland, 15002000 (2017).
