Erika Lenkert, a native San Franciscan, has authored more than two dozen travel guides to San Francisco and California, including several Frommer's guidebooks. During her twenty-two year career in travel journalism, she has written a restaurant column for San Francisco magazine, was a restaurant critic for the San Francisco Chronicle, and has written feature stories on San Francisco and Wine Country for a wide variety of national magazines ranging from Travel + Leisure and Food & Wine to In Style. Erika resides in Marin County.
