This map and guide book to Paris includes all streets within the peripherique, all of which are indexed. In addition, it includes a metro map along with the lines of the London tube map, and spreads on Versailles, Bois de Vincennes, and the Louvre. Information is also included on museums, places of interest, art galleries, theatres, cinemas, jazz clubs, caberets, shops, and hotels.
Michael Middleditch was chief cartographer at Geographia for many years. He created the Mapguides especially for Penguin, and there are three highly successful titles in the series- New York, Paris, and London. He died on Christmas Day 2012, shortly after completing this eighth edition of his famous London Mapguide.
