Airbnb is well-suited to the modern traveler: private but interesting apartments, affordable prices, making new friends are the complete opposite of the boring cookie-cutter hotels with more or less similar furnishings and the expected run-of-the-mill services.
Soon, two years will have passed since I started hosting modern-day vagabonds in my home. I enjoy exploring the world, which is why I like hosting like-minded people.
In the summer, my seaside ground-floor apartment with a small garden is always full of interesting guests from all over the world.
Our relationships also vary wildly. Sometimes, we can immediately identify a kindred spirit, we instantly click, start chatting and share our stories; on other occasions, we keep our distance and only bump into each other on arrival and departure.
Despite it all, we have amassed quite a few stories together and every single one has enriched me in some way or inspired me with new revelations.
Born in Ljubljana 1957, finished Faculty of Arts and worked in a Public Library till retirement. In her spare time she likes to travel around, mainly in Asian countries.
Today she lives in Piran, a small pitoresque town on the Slovenian cost - where she get inspired every single day by a new stories of life.
