Description

Joanne discovered her Oscar in a cage at the dog pound. From then her life was never the same! This was a dog with a big personality, attracting George Clooney! Together Joanne and Oscar decide to travel around the world and highlight the plight of abandoned dogs, the importance of sterilisation and how adopting dogs from a shelter is the way to own a pet. So off they go on their hilarious adventure. They say 'Bone voyage' in France, visit the 'Taj Mahowl', take on the 'Raiders of the Lost Bark' in the Middle East, the 'Great Woof of China' and of course become 'Slumdog' in India. Oscar flies in a private jet, goes for a run on the plains of Namibia, takes a dip in the Trevi Fountain in Rome, smooches with a snowdog in Switzerland, makes friends with Buddhist monks in Ladakh and upgrades to Business Class over Arizona. Along the way he discovers his true identity which gives him a new 'leash on life' - he is a minor mix between a Pembroke Welsh corgi, a German shepherd, an English springer spaniel and a basset hound! And together they meet nearly 50 Animal Protection Societies all around the world.
