Erythronium, a genus of 29 species of bulbous perennials are among of the most striking spring flowering woodland plants with their slender pendent flowers, mottled arum-like leaves. This, the first dedicated monograph on Erythronium, is an authoritative book for gardeners, growers and breeders and a major academic work that gathers together the latest research.
"The simple and elegant design of the pages entices us into the depth of the comprehensive content while the fourteen paintings . . . combine the beauty of the individual species with botanical accuracy. . . . For serious enthusiasts and growers, and for people like me helping everyday gardeners choose good plants and grow them well, books like this are indispensible."-- "Transatlantic Gardener"
