Since the publication of Plant Genotyping: the DNA Fingerprinting of Plants in 2001, the techniques available for plant DNA analysis have advanced considerably. Recent developments focus on high throughput methods, and generally target single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) discovery and analysis.
