Description

This volume provides information on bristletails, silverfish, cockroaches, termites, praying mantids, earwigs, stick-insects, web spinners and zorapterans found in Australia and its offshore territories. Many species are of significant economic and medical importance, and many are unique to Australia. The book catalogues all the described species for each of these nine groups, and details their nomenclature, type data, distribution, ecological attributes, and important bibliographical references associated with each taxon. Many recent taxonomic decisions are included.
